A healthy breakfast idea for Saturday or Sunday? I`ve got you covered 🥑☕
Try this avocado toast sprinkled with omega seeds and masala chai for breakfast. It`s a quick and easy breakfast recipe yet very healthy.
Recipe: Avocado Toast
Wholemeal bread
1/2 an avocado
Salt
Pepper
Red chilli Flakes
@betterfoodmood Omega seed mix (you can find this on my website)
Mash the avocado.
Toast the bread.
Spread the avocado.
Sprinkle salt, black pepper and red chilli flakes.
Sprinkle my seed mix or any omega seeds mix you have.
For the chai:
1 tbsp masala chai loose leaf blend (available in my tiktok shop)
1 cup water
1/2 tsp sugar
1/4 cup milk (use your milk of choice - I used dairy milk)
Add 1 tbsp of the masala chai blend with sugar to a pan on a high flame.
Add boiling water and brew for 10 minutes.
Add milk and brew for another 5 minutes.
Strain into your tea cup.
Such a delicious breakfast combination of avocado toast and chai tea.
This breakfast is healthy because of the avocado and omega mixed seeds which are full of healthy fats that are essential for our brain, eyes and skin. The chai spices also aid with digestion and chai is your perfect pick me up on the weekend - especially after a long week.

I`m working from home today as I`m coming down with a cold. I haven`t had a cold in over one and a half years, but as soon as I feel the sniffles coming on, I rush to make this homemade remedy that my mum taught me.
I thought I would share it with you as everyone seems to be down with something ATM. (Also reducing stress could help)
🫚 Chop slices of ginger
💛 Add turmeric root or powder
🌱 Add Carom seeds
🏺Water

This year for women`s day, I was happy to be invited by @women_in_food_industry for a wonderful day filled with photography workshops, inspirational panels and a mini food fair.
📸 My teas were featured in both photography sessions by @iphonefoodphotography, with an iced tea session in the morning and a hot tea session in the afternoon. I was so happy to hear how everyone loved the colours of the tea 🩵🫖🩷
♀️I got to listen to inspiring stories from different female founders. It`s amazing how our stories are so similar despite being from completely different backgrounds. It keeps reminding me of why I am doing what I`m doing and to keep going because things must change for women.
💃🏻 Finally, I also enjoyed meeting lots of women and sharing what I do in the food fair. I also got to reconnect with other lovely founders such as @kana_homecooked
All in all, a wonderful day out.

Pancake day is almost here and here`s a yummy blue matcha pancake recipe.
I used my blue moon latte blend with blue matcha, Ashwagandha, spices and vanilla to make this.
These taste delicious, look blue and unlike other pancakes you`ve seen ☺️
Dry ingredients:
1 cup plain flour
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tbsp @betterfoodmood blue moon latte
Pinch of salt
Wet ingredients:
3/4 cup milk
1 tbsp white vinegar
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 tsp honey or maple syrup
1) Add the vinegar to the milk and set it aside for 10 minutes to curdle.
2) Add in the coconut oil and honey to the mix above.
3) Mix all the dry ingredients together.
4) Slowly add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix but do not over mix.
5) Set aside for 10 minutes
6) Once your skillet is hot, use a ladle to pour out equal quantities of batter to make the pancakes.
7) Serve with blueberries, strawberries, honey and any other toppings of choice.

Avocados provide those healthy fats which are essential for good heart and brain health. Vitamin E in avocados is also great for skin 💃🏻

50g oats
2 tbsp greek yoghurt
Handful of blueberries and grapes
Milk as required
1 tbsp chopped dates
Blend everything and pour into your bowl.
Top with strawberries, pomegranate and @betterfoodmood Hemp and mulberries seeds mix which has pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, flaxseed, chia seeds, mulberries, cacao nibs and hemp seeds ✨
Add sweetener if you like!
