Better Food Mood – Live Healthy, Live Happy
Hi there! Welcome to my blog and thank you for taking the time to visit. My name is Ruchi and I decided to start this blog to provide you with some helpful tips, ideas, recipes, thoughts or whatever I dream up that I would like to share with you.
Better Food Mood is about eating right and the idea that food can directly impact how you feel. But food is not enough. It is also about doing all the other things that will help make you feel better (or atleast made me feel better and hope it helps you too).
Our health has two aspects, both physical and mental. We do tend to take care of our physical health, to some extent, through food but forget about mental health. I believe both food and other activities go hand in hand to ensure we live a long, happy and healthy life. In this blog, I will share my thoughts on things such as food, meditation, happiness, motivation, positivity, stress, travel, self confidence, self care and anything and everything that may contribute towards your physical and mental well-being. Please note that I am in no way an expert but I’m simply sharing my thoughts on experiences I’ve had and what I’ve implemented in my life to help me.
My Background
Food:
I have been a vegetarian since birth and have always struggled to get all the essential vitamins or minerals that are recommended to be consumed on a daily basis. For this reason, I started my own research whether it was online or listening to podcasts or reading nutrition books to figure out the best ways to get these nutrients as a vegetarian. Being vegetarian meant that I was always low on iron and most b vitamins. Yes, I could take supplements but as well as these, I also wanted to get as many vitamins and minerals naturally through food as possible. I am by no means an expert or have any qualifications to verify that all the information I provide on this website is true to the tee, but it is all based on what I’ve read and implemented in my own life. Please do your own research and be wary about following any advice incase you have allergies or any other causes for concern. I am only looking to give back to my readers through what I’ve learnt in my life and will also set up a store incase you would like to purchase any of the products I mention in my blog posts.
Lifestyle:
I have been a small business owner for most of my working life and always dreamed of having multiple businesses. Being an entrepreneur is very hard work and it can get lonely. One has to constantly stay positive, it’s very stressful and one has to overcome several challenges. These can lead to many issues such as loss of sleep, lack of motivation and others. I would also like to talk about these and how I overcame them and how I am still overcoming some of them. Even if you are not an entrepreneur, many of these aspects such as stress can apply to our everyday lives no matter what you do so I hope it will still be helpful.
