Banana Cinnamon Oatmeal Breakfast with Apple, Raspberries and Pumpkin Seeds
Good morninggggg guys! Hope you are having a wonderful wonderful Sunday. Today, I made yummy banana cinnamon oats for breakfast because whilst it is spring here in London, it’s still cold! Infact, it snowed over the last three days (UK weather!)
This oatmeal is slightly different from the normal oatmeal breakfasts I make because I added the banana into the oatmeal while cooking it rather than on top as a garnishing. My banana was slightly ripe and I thought it would be better to cook it than eat it raw.
So without further ado, here’s the recipe for my banana cinnamon oatmeal breakfast with apple, raspberries and pumpkin seeds.
INGREDIENTS:
50g raw oats
Water to cook oats
1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
Half banana (slightly ripe would be better)
Honey/maple syrup or other sweetener
Raspberries
Apple
Pumpkin Seeds
METHOD:
Add oats into a pan with water, cinnamon powder and banana. I simply chopped the banana into coins and added it to my oatmeal. No need to mash! Cook oats for 2-3 minutes until it has the consistency you like.
Garnish with apple slices, raspberries, pumpkin seeds.
Add honey or other sweetener on top, mix and enjoy hot!
50g oats are enough for a small person like me 🙂 it was just right. If you need to increase the quantity, simply increase the other ingredients as well!
Happy Sunday!
