UK Heatwave Summer Fennel and Rose Iced Tea – Herbal Tea Recipes – Iced Tea Recipes UK
As the heatwave descends on us here in the UK, it can become increasingly difficult to have tea (some of the tea lovers out there like me will still continue having tea – because what’s life without tea and cake).
In this recipe, I will show you how to make an ICED FENNEL AND ROSE TEA if you love the taste of herbal tea but cannot get yourself to drink a cup of hot tea in this hot summer weather.
This iced fennel and rose tea is so simple to make. I added a dash of lemon and honey as well to give it that tangy and sweet taste.
Inorder to make this iced fennel and rose tea, you will need fennel seeds and loose rose tea. You can find both of these in my store.

Roses have been used in Ayurveda (Indian traditional medicine) and Traditional Chinese medicine for thousands of years to treat certain conditions.
Traditional Chinese medicine considers rose petals a potential remedy for digestive problems, tiredness, poor sleep, anxiety, mood swings and menstrual cramps.
In India, roses have been used for thousands of years in Ayurveda (Indian traditional medicine) and are thought to help with digestion, good skin complexion and as an aphrodisiac.
Studies are still being undertaken in the Western world, with most studies done on animals and in the lab.
Fennel seeds are used in India and they are thought to have a cooling effect on the body, help with digestion, soothe the nerves, help with abdominal pain during menstruation and increase the flow of breastmilk.
In modern science, fennel seeds are thought to combat aging and they may relieve menstrual cramps. They are also beneficial for good bone health.
What better way to take advantage of these benefits than with a refreshing and calming cup of iced herbal fennel and rose tea in the afternoon?
Drinking a cup of iced herbal tea is miles better than an iced cup of black tea or coffee loaded with caffeine – especially if you struggle with sleep. Rose tea will calm your senses and aid with better sleep.
