Immunity Booster Golden Turmeric And Ginger Oats Breakfast Bowl Vegan Recipe – Easy Breakfast Recipes
As I’ve been feeling under the weather lately, I decided to cook this delicious golden turmeric and ginger oatmeal for breakfast today. I call this an immunity booster breakfast bowl because it has got all the goodness of turmeric and ginger powder which are both strong antioxidants and have strong anti-inflammatory properties. Both of these are great for warding off colds (well, my mum says so and I’ve been eating both of these since I was a child to help with flu and cough). There’s also some scientific evidence to show that curcumin found in turmeric helps to fight viruses.

Adding all the extra fruits on top gives that extra Vitamin C boost making this oatmeal breakfast bowl a good breakfast for when you are coming down with that cold or cough.
You can add less turmeric powder than I’ve suggested in this bowl as it is bitter and if you don’t regularly consume it, you may find the taste a bit too strong.
This easy oats breakfast recipe is super quick to make and barely takes 10 minutes to make.
These golden turmeric breakfast oatmeal is also great for both vegans and vegetarians as I do not use milk to make them. I use water to cook the oats. You can also use a neutral plant based milk such as oat milk or almond milk if you are vegan to cook these oats.
INGREDIENTS:
50g raw oats
Water as required
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp ginger powder
1 tsp honey / maple syrup
For Garnishing:
Red grapes
Blueberries
1 Banana
Pistachios
Almonds
Brazil nuts
Chocolate chia pudding

METHOD:
Add the raw oats and water to a pan and cook on a medium flame.
Add the turmeric powder and ginger powder.
Stir continuously until your oats are cooked and you have the desired consistency. This should take 2 – 4 minutes.
Pour into your bowl.
Garnish with grapes, blueberries, banana, pistachios, almonds and brazil nuts.
Drizzle honey / maple syrup on top and enjoy your golden turmeric and ginger oatmeal hot!
